The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirement that all inbound containers are to be fitted with high security seals is now in force.

Most containers shipped to US ports are already secured with high security seas as required by Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT), but the new legislation now makes this level of security mandatory on all shipments to the US.

All seals will therefore have to meet or exceed the PAS ISO 17712 standard for high security seals.
