June Rate Increases - Asia to Europe Route

Whilst the market stability is increasing and the confidence is mounting for prospects during the current season, it is being widely reported by all the main deep sea ocean carriers that some form of General Rate Increase or Peak Season Surcharge will come into effect during June. The figures being quoted vary from line to line, but early indications are in the region of $150 per TEU.
